Under the Care Act 2014, we have a clear legal duty to protect adults at risk of abuse or neglect.

• We follow local safeguarding procedures and work closely with Birmingham City Council Safeguarding Boards
• All staff receive regular training in recognising risks, reporting concerns, and acting quickly
• We have clear policies and procedures to investigate and respond to any concerns immediately
• We empower residents to speak up, understand their rights, and feel safe and supported at all times

• All support plans are co-produced with you, reviewed regularly, and updated as your needs change
• Staff receive ongoing training in complex care, moving and handling, PEG feeding, mental capacity, and equality
• We welcome feedback and use it to continuously improve our services
• We maintain open, transparent relationships with social workers, health teams, and partner organisations
